Exterior and interior review

First production of this model began in 1978 and finished in 2003. After ten long years, in 2013, Mitsubishi decided to start the production of its great Mirage model. Very soon it will come even better than before as 2016 model. Mitsubishi engineers have decided to give the vehicle generic curves in addition to improve its aerodynamics. The front fascia of this sedan will suffer redesign. It will get the new front grille and reshaped headlights. Headlights as well as taillights will be powered with LED technology. Just like the front end, the rear part of the new Mirage will be reshaped in some points. 2016 Mitsubishi Mirage will be available in some new colors- red metallic, eisen gray mica, cool silver and the white pearl. When we are talking about the interior of the new model, we have to say that there will be some very interesting changes. The dash of the new Mirage will be more spacy than before with the all-new touchscreen display in the center. Previous models had glossy appearance, but the dash of the new Mirage will be rather matte. 2016 Mitsubishi Mirage powertrain

Under the hood of this interesting small city vehicle we will find the same engine as in its predecessor. We are talking about 1.2 – liter 3-cylinder power unit. This engine is capable to produce 74 horsepower and 74 lb-ft of torque. The transmission will be a 5-speed manual as the basic equipment or CVT as optional.


Price and release date

As for the release date of the new 2016 Mitsubishi Mirage, we could expect it on the market in early 2016. Its price will be around $15,000, and its biggest competitor will be the 2016 Nissan Leaf
