2017 BMW X5 powertrain
The 2017 BMW X5 will be available with several petrol and diesel engines, beside already mentioned hybrid variant. The base model will be powered with a V6 gasoline engine with a 3.0-liter displacement. This engine is capable to deliver 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. This engine shall be coupled with eight speed automatic transmission and it will be available in either RWD or FWD.
Release date and price
There is still no accurate information when the new 2017 BMW X5 is going to be released, but it is expected that it will happen in the second half of 2016 or at the beginning of 2017. It will be more expensive than its predecessor, and the price will start from $50,000.
