2018 Opel Corsa-Review,Engine,Release

2018 Opel Corsa is going to get a couple of changes to both the exterior and the interior. A minor tweak to the engine is also to be expected.

2018 OPEL CORSA EXTERIOR

The new Opel Corsa is going to share the underlying architecture with the new Astra model. This is the so called SCCS platform, which consists of high-strength steel and aluminum. This light platform is going to improve the fuel economy even further. On the exterior, expect to see a new and redesigned grille. The headlights are going to be updated with the latest BiXenon technology. The bumpers and the fenders are going to be bigger, and add to the sleek and elegant look of the new Opel Corsa. The vehicle is going to be a couple of inches shorter, thanks to the new platform.

2018 OPEL CORSA INTERIOR

The cabin is going to be equipped with the latest TFT screen, with the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features. Even though the vehicle will technically be shorter than before, you won’t really feel that on the inside. This is because the axles have been moved as far to the front as possible, so technically, you still have the same amount of room available. The finest leather and a careful design of the interior will make the new Opel Corsa both comfortable and elegant. Expect Bluetooth and USB connectivity, satellite radio, navigation systems and many other features.

2018 OPEL CORSA ENGINE

We are probably going to see the same engine lineup from before. The previous model had a range of engines that are appropriate for the vehicle of its size. One of these engines is the 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that can output 200 horsepower. It will be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission to the front wheels. Aside from the front-wheel drive, don’t expect anything else. The 1.2 three-cylinder engine and the 1.4 four-cylinder engine are also quite possible, but only with a couple of tweaks here and there.

2018 OPEL CORSA SAFETY FEATURES

The new Opel Corsa has decent safety ratings, with an average rating being above 70%. Some of the features included are ESC, Lane Keeping Assist, Speed Assistance, Seat belt Reminder and a plenty of airbags. Opel Corsa has always been a safe vehicle, for both adults and the children. Considering the fact that this vehicle is often used as a family car, these good safety ratings are not a surprise.
